Municipal Park
About the Municipal Park
The City of Rochester's park system offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities. At Rochester Municipal Park, the recreation opportunities include:
- Lighted tennis courts
- Open air shelters (the Kiwanis Shelter and the enclosed Lion's Shelter)
- Over a mile of paved walkway
- A pond (for skating in the winter)
- Restrooms
- Sand volleyball
- Two tot lots (one at the north end off Ludlow Street and one at the south end at the end of Pine Street)
Paint Creek meanders through the entire park. The Rochester Municipal Park is also home of the Rochester Community House, which is a not-for-profit service and banquet facility accessible from Ludlow Street.
