This campaign includes Community Outreach Programs and Resources for Rochester Residents and Businesses to learn how to help prepare and protect themselves, families, pets, homes, businesses and employees.

The City of Rochester's Fire Department, Emergency Preparedness division utilizes resources from the Department of Homeland Security's "Ready" campaign and the "All Hazards" approach.  "Ready" is a national public service effort designed to educate and empower the American people to prepare for, respond to and mitigate emergencies, including natural and man-made disasters. The goal of the campaign is to promote preparedness through public involvement.
