November 4th through November 10th, 2018 is national Winter Hazards Awareness Week
To help Rochester City residents and businesses minimize the risks of winter hazards, the Rochester Fire Department Emergency Planning and Preparedness Section, in collaboration with the National Weather Service and other County, State, Federal, and non-profit agencies, are sponsoring Winter Hazard Awareness Week each Fall.
The event includes a website promotion on ReadyRochester.org and social media posts. The week-long effort provides specific information each day that can be used in conjunction with school, church, or civic programs.
